WSO Major Announcement(s)!

       Ok so about a week ago I gave a sneak peak and showed our new soap packaging

       Then several days ago I outlined some technical changes if you will coming up for WetShaveObsession (http://wetshaveobsession.blogspot.com/2014/03/a-peek-at-whats-ahead-for.html ).
       Yesterday I announced the introduction of our new Aftershave Blash which will be going live on April 1st ( http://wetshaveobsession.blogspot.com/2014/03/wso-aftershave-blash-going-live.html ).

       Well I am not done yet. Tonight I have another very exciting announcement to make.
       I would like to announce the revision of our product line. Our product offerings are being split into 3 categories:
            1- The Vintage Line
            2- The Modern Line
            3- The Ultimate Skincare Line

       The Vintage Line will be just as you might expect. Vintage scented products such as Bay Rum , Bill the Barber, Sandalwood, Louie's Coconut Lime, Baywood, etc. The packaging will be amber brown bottles with craft brown labels offering a very attractive, vintage look and feel. There will be a clear, waterproof label over top of the craft brown label to protect it from water and moisture.

        The Modern Line will be primarily cologne and aftershave based scents such as Green Irish Tweed, LD Spice, Touch for Men, UK Leather, Armani Black Code, Tommi, Aqua Di Gio, The Naud, etc. It is time to offer wetshaving products with a modern twist. While I love a good Baywood or Coconut Lime I know there are plenty of significant others out there that are tired of BayRum or Bill the Barber type scents. The would like modern popular scents. Also it will be nice to match your Aftershave Balm or Blash with a quality cologne such as Tommy for Men or Green Irish Tweed, or Armani Black Code. The packaging for the Modern Line will be a vibrant blue bottle with a white vinyl waterproof label. It has a very sleek and appealing modern look to it.

      The Ultimate Skincare Line has been in development essentially from the inception of WSO. I was and am already using unique, organic, all natural top quality ingredients never before used and purified to an unheard of level, but I wanted to raise the bar even more. Take skincare to an entirely new level when it comes to wetshaving. The Ultimate Skincare line will offer the ultimate in skincare and protection as well as overall skin health. This line will be 100% Organic and will use no fragrance oils what so ever. Every combination of essential oils has been selected for their benefits to the skin, its health, appearance and overall well being. I have spent months researching essential oils and their properties as they pertain to skin heath and care. I have gone to great lengths to modify ingredients and essential oils such as tea tree oil, which has amazing skin benefits, but has a less than pleasant smell. Well through the wonders of modern chemistry I have utilized a process to deodorize Tea Tree oil. This will allow it to maintain its phenomenal skin benefits minus the less than pleasant scent that normally comes along with it. The fact is also that in order to capitalize on the benefits of tea tree a minimum effective quantity must be utilized. If the truth be told the odor of tea tree oil has prevented anyone from using it in an effective topical dose, despite what creative marketing efforts by some may imply...until now. I have also gone to the lengths of deodorizing  organic witch hazel and double distilling it to lower the alcohol content. Not eliminate alcohol, I didn't want it eliminated. Alcohol in a very small amount is extremely beneficial for its astringent as well as other properties. Ingredients such as Organic Aloe and Deodorized Tea Tree Oil have been added to the Soaps that fall into this category. Same basic soap formula with small but highly beneficial additions. Same amazing performance just with additional skincare benefits. I have even gone so far as to micronize the bentonite clay used in the soap to give it an even slicker feel with less abrasion to the epidermis layer of the skin. The Ultimate Skincare line will come in attractive green bottles with with textured craft brown labels with a clear label over top to protect from water and moisture. A very classy, attractive look.

       All in all I never expected things to take off the way they have for WetShaveObsession and for that I am truly grateful. With that, however, comes an obligation or responsibility to continue to try to make things even better for our customers. If you aren't moving forward you are falling backwards. WSO will always be moving forward. Always striving to improve in every area from product quality and performance, to packaging, to customer service. It is the least I can do in return for what has been done for me. This is enabling me to pursue my passion. It is a gift not to be taken lightly and I promise to continue to try and make things better and better for all of our customers and supporters.
